A preview of Path of Exile’s Prophecy changes

  • Path of Exile’s Prophecy League is full swing, and devs have utilized player feedback to build this week’s 2.3.1 update. The Prophecy-specific changes players will be forward to will include a reduction of backtracking at end-game to lower-level maps to perform prophecies, lowered sealing costs for fabled and POE Chaos Orb fabled unique prophecies, and new prophecies. To compensate for removing some prophecies, Grinding Gear Games bumped the rewards rate about the more valuable prophecies by 20%.
Devs also offered several hints for players: To finish “The Corrupt” prophecy, they write “the trick would be to put a Vaal Fragment in the map device. Likewise ‘A Regal Death’ may be completed with a few map bosses or Atziri. In addition, it’s pretty very easy to just kill Daresso through the waypoint for POE Exalted Orb that free Regal Orb.” Additionally, the “Vaal Hidden Pathways” prophecy will trigger if players enter a region that can support a side area, taking out the random chance aspect.
The update also may include other changes and bug fixes; for detailed information, look into the dev post. Then be about the lookout for full patch notes later within the week that could unveil the many non-Prophecy League changes.
