adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 “Tephra” Releases On June 15th

  • Kanye West’s adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 has carried on the bulky look popularized by the first Yeezy Boost 700, and now it’s set to stoke the adidas Yeezy line’s hype-fueled fires once again with a new “Tephra” makeup. Although the colorway presents a look that’s similar to the recently-released “Geode,” eagle-eyed fans may recognize the style from earlier, as it was in fact revealed when Kayne himself tweeted out a sample version with a synthetic upper back in May of 2018, a picture you can see below.
Combining lighter earth tones on the mesh top half with darker stylings on the suede bottom half, these Yeezys present a perfect transitional color palette, and also offer the line’s legendary comfort thanks to their signature Boost-stuffed midsole. According to Yeezy Mafia, this Yeezy 700 v2 will release on June 15th for $300 USD, so get a look here and be sure to check out our 2019 Yeezy Release Dates page for updates on what ‘Ye and the Three Stripes have cooking for the rest of the year.
With the Triple Black 350 V2 inbound, it’s only fair that the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 V2 get the same treatment. Pushing versatile schemes in a colorway they dub the “Vanta,” the ever-important footwear imprint is finally adding some everyday drivers to the rotation as every accent arrives filled to the brim in the dark palette. Midsole brims shine in a slight shimmer with suede overlays adding some texture ever-so-slight color variation to the upper. Unders, which sit in a much more luxurious mesh material, find themselves in darker contrast with reflective hits furthering that in the right lighting conditions.
